Testimonials:

"Just want to really thank you for the awesome work done on my bike. I couldn't be happier. You guys are the best!"
-Derek L.

"CRM came to my house when I had a nail in my tire, and they advised that I do not ride the motorcycle to their shop with the damaged tire. They picked up my bike and transported it to their shop and had my bike back to me in the same day with a new set of tires... it was an 80 degree day and it worked out very well. THANKS AGAIN."
-Anthony L.

"I had my 900ie Supersport tuned at Crooked River last week: she is like a totally new bike. They did a great job - valves, belts, TPS and throttle body sync. The engine is tighter and more free revving than ever before - and the response is smoother all the way up the revs now!! I took her out for a 'spirited' ride on Sunday and was stunned at the difference. She used to have a constant 'kink' at about 6500 revs but it is all gone now. She's dancing again like a crazy teenager. And according to the Dyno readings, she's making 77HP and 58ft-lbs of Torque which is pretty good for an old gal.

Eric fussed over the bike like a parent, enthused about how well the engine was performing after 37,000 miles and filled me in on how to keep her going for many more. All this and the work was finished exactly when they said it would be.
Cool - thanks Eric and Jeff!!!

RECOMMENDED"

"Thanks for letting us know about the black & yellow 00SV650. It's beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. We did get it & just wanted to say THANKS!!"
-Siu Yan S.

"I have a Ducati Monster S4R that has a Sil Motor full exhaust system, open airbox and BMC air filter, a Power Commander III, light-weight flywheel, 14/44 gearing (15/42 is stock), Evo clutch slave, 520 chain/sprockets and quick change sprocket carrier, a HyperPro steering damper, and other tasty bits and pieces. The bike weighs ~25 lbs less than stock.

The bike ran fine above 5000 rpm with the Fast By Ferracci fuel map that came with the Sil exhaust system, but the low rpm range was prone to surging. I took the bike to Crooked River Ducati in Akron (what a boring ride from Cincinnati) and got the following done: injection mainlinkstyle2printing, cams degreed with custom timing, dyno tuning and a custom fuel map. I only picked up 3 peak HP and 3 peak lb-ft of torque, but I picked up 9 lb-ft of torque at 3800 rpm and the flat spot is history. The power gains are along the full rpm range, and the power curve is smooth and linear. I have between 60-70 lb-ft of torque from 4000 to 9200 rpm. That makes for some fun corner exits, and street riding generally.

We usually look to hardware for performance upgrades, but sometimes the software can provide a significant improvement. Unfortunately, you have to zero the bikes spec settings prior to making the mapping changes because you can't trust that the factory has done so. Of course, this problem is not unique to Ducati. This is one reason there is such a variability in power output of the same model of bike.

Anyway, a job well done by Eric at Crooked River Ducati. Thx, Eric."

-Lee

"I have to say I would recommend Crooked River as well. I recently purchased a new Sport 1000, after about 10 days or so I took it back in for its 600 mile service. Thus far my experience with Crooked River has been very good. As mentioned above, Jeff has a very sincere passion for Ducati motorcycles and you get the sense that he truly cares for and appreciates each customer. Also, Eric, the service manager, has the same kind of passion and desire as Jeff, and again, you get the feeling that he is committed to making your bike run as strong as it can. Overall, I think this is an excellent motorcycle shop run by fair and honest people. I would at least call and talk to Jeff before buying anywhere else."
-Dave C.

"I have never bought a new Ducati but if I do it will be from Crooked River.
I have made smaller purchases from them and they seem to make that extra effort even for little things. The servicing is great too - I had my 36K service done there recently and it was by far the best I've had anywhere (we're talking 30 years riding Europe and USA).

Carl Peshoff is a true enthusiast and runs his shop as such - professionally and enthusiastically.

Cannot comment on the other places you mentioned but I heartily recommend Northern Ohio Ducati."

-Bill B.

"BACK IN FEB 06 I BOUGHT MY FIRST DUCATI ALWAYS HAVE HAD AN ASIAN BIKE SINCE I WAS A KID. SO I WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT BEING ITALIAN I SAID TO MYSELF I SHOULD GET A DUCATI. I STARTED CALLING AROUND TO SEE WHAT WAS AVAILBLE. CROOKED RIVER HAD THE BIKE I WANTED... I WAS BUSY AT WORK SO SENT MY DAD DOWN TO CHECK OUT THE DEALER... THAT'S WHEN MY DAD MET ERIC. MY DAD CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THERE GOOD PEOPLE AND HAD THE BIKE I WANTED... I WENT THERE TO PUT MY DEPOSIT DOWN AND THE NEXT THING THE BIKE WAS AT THE HOUSE THAT'S TO JEFF KINDLY DELIVERING IT DUE TO BAD WEATHER. EVEN THOUGH THE WEATHER HAS BEEN KINDA CRAZY THIS SUMMER I'M GLAD THAT I HAVE MY BIKE. REALLY 1ST CLASS. EVENTHOUGH JEFF AND ERIC ARE SWAMPED MOST OF THE TIME THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD TIME FOR MY NUMEROUS QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIKE AND PARTS AND ARE CONCERNED WITH SERVICE AFTER THE SALE... THEY TAKE SERVICING MYSELF WITH PERSONAL CARE....SO SOMETIMES BIGGER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER. JUST A NOTE OF THANKS."
